“Quote has to be more detailed.”
I received a quote for a move within Vernon for a one bedroom apartment. I was quoted an hourly rate for 2 men plus travel time. It was not clear that they were In Kelowna, an hour away. I was not given provided with an idea of the time it takes to load a one bedroom. I thought the travel time was within the town. So the move cost 677$. This was way more than expected. I had another quote for 500$ by a local company. My advice..... get an estimated price range for the size and distance of your move.

here is a copy of the quote Gail Fordyce received and below that is the move agreement she received the travel time was rather clear and was communicated about on the phone as well . Need to be quickly moved from home to storage. Called Mark and he accommodated me and listen to my details about my heavy maple and oak furniture understanding I treasured my belongings. They came totally equipped with everything necessary to protect my belongings while moving and in storage. They arrived on timing and worked tirelessly for the entire day. Loading, driving to storage to unload, and then repeat the process three times. Always professional. My daughter who was there overseeing the move, was so impressed she gave the movers each a generous tip. She raved to me what great workers they were. Reason for so many trips, the driveway was steep and only a smaller truck could get up the driveway. I would recommend this company to anybody who is moving. I intend to use them after the pandemic is over to move my belongings from West Bank to Calgary. Fantastic movers.
“Above and beyond service”
I recently moved from East Kelowna to Penticton. The service I received from Maps Movers was more than I expected. The two gentlemen were very cordial, took exceptional care with my belongings. They followed my requests and directions with complete professionalism, also worked in a very timely manner, proficient and surprisingly quick. I can't say enough at how pleased I was with the treatment I received from Mark and his employees and the price of the move itself. I definitely recommend MAPS MOVERS if you're planning to move! I will be using them again as my sister is moving to Penticton in the spring! Very grateful and satisfied customer!! Archie Wutzke

What is your top advice for your customers?
Customer preparations the more prepared you are the less time we are on the job. Some money saving tips To have your movers be more efficient/quicker please have all items pre packaged / boxed with their location at new house this will save on the load time and help your movers to be more efficient. Please leave all cloth/ clothing items in dressers with drawers in to be padded and wrapped. All of your boxed / bagged or toted items can be placed close to the exit
