The movers were supposed to be there between 8 and 9. they actually got there at 9:35. They purposely took their time, they practically sauntered. They said if I paid cash I would not have to pay for tax or gas. The move was supposed to be for five hours with two guys. From Hamilton to Welland. It took me an hour to drive from Hamilton to Welland and it took them two hours. I gave them $800.00 cash, and they charged me an additional 634.44. I can't help but believe that this is how they do business. They quote a reasonable price and then drag it out so as to bill more after the fact. I was very disappointed with the experience and would never recommend these movers.

The team were professional and really helpful. My only reservations are the time they took, I’d have appreciated them working a little faster and when it came to billing, they didn’t give me a breakdown or receipt. I’d like more transparency when it comes to billing as well.

The pricing was fair, the movers were friendly and professional and fast. It felt so stressful as both movers knew what to do and had everything they needed.

Very accommodating, quick and priced very reasonable.

Broken and missing items. Noticed after they completed the move. Gave them $10 each then had the audacity to request tip. Glad I was refunded the tip of 10%. Impressed with how fast they worked, but the outcome was not good! I would not refer them.

Hired the team at Proactive Movers for a full office move that encompassed disassembly and reassembly of over 20 desks, as well as chairs, boxes, and filing cabinets, etc. The team worked diligently over two full days to get the move complete including building and placing the desks as shown on the floor plan.

They're very courteous and hardworking.

movers were slow, until the end of day approached, they left items behind, left the loading residence, before the job was completed, said the truck was full when it was not, they also broke the glass on a computer, they did not pack it but they did transport it and knew it was fragile, my rating would be less than 2 but i had to give them something, I never imagined that a moving company can be so bad.

They refused to try to get our couch in the house, saying that there was no way it would go in. Some friends came a couple of days later and it was in our living room in about 5 minutes.
